Vasim Circus Space

The people behind Vasim Circus Space asked me to design them a new visual identity, one that fits the new space they are building. The new Vasim Circus Space will be playful, airy and super versatile, a spacious place where all kinds of circus practioners will be welcome to play, train, experiment and meet each other. These characteristics of the VCS are reflected in the logo, which comes in different shapes and colors to play around with and looks bold but at the same time dynamic and airy. I’m using the hoop as a recurring visual element in this identity as a referrence to circus; in Latin, the word circus means “ring,” and many circus attributes are circular (aerial hoop, walking globe, spinning plates, the Cyr wheel etc). The visual identiy is still under development, while the VCS is crowfunding their renovation.
